Typography has always been one of my favorite design mediums, especially when it’s crafted by hand. For my Intro to Typography class, I took a playful, experimental approach by creating letterforms using dry oatmeal and sugar packets from the local Starbucks on the RWU campus. This project reminded me how much I love the tactile, expressive nature of type, and I’m eager to dive back into it—perhaps this time experimenting with wet materials to push the boundaries even further. Inspired by designers like Lauren Hom, I’m excited to explore new ways to merge craftsmanship with digital design and bring more personality into my work
